A multifaceted producer, mixer, engineer and musician, Aron Kobayashi-Ritch’s creative journey began at a young age in Los Angeles. While still in high school, Aron had two important, but very different, apprenticeships. As assistant for both David Boucher & Gabe Wax, Aron worked on projects ranging from Andrew Bird, Randy Newman, and Frankie Cosmos to orchestral soundtracks for Disney’s Frozen, Moana, and Cars 3.

After high school, Aron attended the esteemed Music Technology Program at NYU Steinhardt where he continued to hone his technical skills. Staying in NY after college, Aron, now based in Brooklyn, established himself as the go-to producer for bands in the revived local scene. 

In 2019, Aron joined the band Momma as bassist, producing their sophomore album Two of Me as well as the acclaimed follow up Household Name for Polyvinyl Records. Beyond his ongoing work as a producer/writer/member of Momma, he has worked with bands such as Snail Mail, Been Stellar, Miss Grit, Bedridden, Dear Boy, Harry Teardrop, Push-Ups, poptropicaslutz!, Squirrel Flower, Bachelor, Jay Som, Scarlet Rae, Sub*T, Girlpuppy and more.
