ARON KOBAYASHI-RITCH

A multifaceted producer, mixer, engineer and musician, Aron Kobayashi-Ritch’s creative journey began at a young age in Los Angeles. While still in high school, Aron had two important but very different apprenticeships. As an assistant for both David Boucher & Gabe Wax, Aron worked on projects ranging from Andrew Bird, Randy Newman, and Frankie Cosmos to orchestral soundtracks for Disney’s Frozen, Moana, and Cars 3.

After high school, Aron attended the esteemed Music Technology Program at NYU Steinhardt where he continued to hone his technical skills. Now based in Brooklyn, he has established himself as the go-to producer for many bands in the local scene.

In 2019, Aron joined the band Momma as bassist, producing their sophomore album Two of Me as well as the acclaimed follow up Household Name for Polyvinyl Records. Beyond his ongoing work as a producer/writer/member of Momma, he has worked with bands such as Been Stellar, Miss Grit, Bedridden, Nitefire, Harry Teardrop, Push-Ups, poptropicaslutz!, Squirrel Flower, Bachelor, Jay Som, Scarlet Rae, Sub*T, Girlpuppy and more.
